As we age dreaming itself seems like a fictional aspect of our daily lives. I believe in dreams. I think they are a secret way in which God communicates with us all. These dreams guide us and will take us where we truly belong. The journey thus embarked upon will unfold and renewed you.
“The Dolphin, story of a Dreamer” is a book that will inspire anyone to think positive even if it fails to encourage one to dream. Sergio Bambaren, the author to the book has taken a very simple example to communicate his point of view. His view is actually his life and the way he has conducted it.
It is true it takes a great deal of courage to break free and follow your dreams. I mean, how many people we actually know who do want they want to do? Perhaps you can start asking this question to yourself to begin before moving towards another individual. We often forget the purpose of our existence as we continue to live our lives monotonously with the sense of fake security that it provides.
As I flipped through the pages of “The Dolphin”, I found the corners of my lips going up time and again. I realised that this book had in it to make me realise things that I may have ignored in my life for being whims and fancies. It’s very easy to be judged by others for doing whatever you wish to do, taking your own time, believing in dreams; all of this can be mistaken as rebellion and arrogance. Also there is no dearth of people who will fill your minds with doubts and fear which will always keep you anxious and apprehensive. Unnecessarily we will become defensive towards opportunities and people.
The most important lesson that I have learnt is to have faith in our dreams and visions. I’m still learning to tap my full potential by following my instincts, but I guess it is a process and atleast I have started. And I’m happy with myself now. It is also important to show some faith in others as not everybody is evil; some are scared just as we were when we began our journey.
Its true words have an impact on us, as we connect our emotions with them. So when people we trust show lack of faith in our abilities, it is only so because they don’t know us that well or maybe they don’t trust that we could achieve what may seemingly be impossible for them. However, it is of utmost importance where we place our faith- in ourselves or on what others say?
It is important to lay our good faith in our dreams and aspirations to watch them become reality. It is upto us whom we trust and what we believe in, as that will define our state of mind and our proximity to our dreams and goals in life.
I would recommend everybody to read this book. And I hope that you will find your message in it too just as I did.
